The Ultimate Gift Guide for the Traveller or Adventure Seeker

Gift Guide for Traveller

Giving gifts to others is one of the best things about Christmas, but can also be one of the most stressful parts of Christmas. If you’re stumbling to find ideas for the Traveller or the Adventure Seekers in your life this is the perfect blog post for you!

This gift guide is full of my must-haves when it comes to travel. A lot of these products I’ve tested out during my own adventures and some are on my own personal wish list! They’re also a wide range of different price points in this gift guide, so you’ll be able to find something for just about anyone on your list in this Travellers Gift Guide!

The Perfect Flight Essentials Gift

As stated in my Long Flights Essential blog post, I never travel without an eye mask and neck pillow when it comes to flying, especially long flights like 14 hours from Cali to Sydney! An eye mask you can probably find just about anywhere, but if you’re looking for something a little extra, this Slip Silk Eye Mask is very luxurious and is a great gift on its own. I use the Cabeau neck pillow and I believe it’s one of the best out there. I’ve read many reviews on this neck pillow before purchasing because as far as neck pillows go, it’s not the cheapest option out there, but therefore makes an amazing Christmas gift! If you want to make the Ultimate Flight Essentials gift, especially for a friend or family member going on a long flight in the future, throw an eye mask, travel pillow, compression socks, and some earplugs, a pack of gum and some other travel products in a little bag and you have the perfect flying essentials gift!

Scratch off Map

I originally asked for a scratch-off map of the world last year for Christmas and my parents thought it was such a cool idea, they ordered one for themselves as well. You can very affordably pick a scratch-off map off of Amazon or you can find beautifully made ones on Etsy. It’s a really cool way for someone to display all their adventures they’ve been on and I absolutely love mine and seeing all the colors get exposed as my travels around the world continues.

Backpack

A backpack is the perfect travel companion and is the perfect gift for the Traveller in your life. I’m a huge fan of super durable, multipurpose backpacks like the High Sierra Pathway backpack that I recently reviewed on my blog or my beloved Herschel backpacks. Both of these bags are perfect for traveling, school, and hiking trips. Great for so many different occasions.

Travel Guide: Uluru, Australia

I also think a smaller backpack is perfect for traveling as well. I have this mini black leather backpack that I purchased originally from a consignment shop which I take everywhere. Especially if the traveler in your life is a little more into fashion and style, a smaller backpack is an awesome present. Especially when I’m travelling or even on day trips out, I always take my little backpack with me. It’s extremely practical for holding anything from your wallet, water bottle, camera, and anything else you may need for the day and looks like a normal purse!

Luggage Scale

A luggage scale is definitely a practical gift that any traveler will need. Especially with airlines cracking down on carry on weight restrictions, having a luggage scale is definitely a gift that is extremely handy and practical. You can find luggage scales in just about any department store in the travel section, but Amazon also has some great affordable options available as well.

Promptly Travel Journal

I first heard of Promptly Journals in the beginning of 2018 and instantly fell in love with their products and overall aesthetic of products. They have journals specifically designed for milestones in your life like childhood, adoption, love storyall about your relationship from engagement to 70th anniversary, and my personal favorite– the Travel Journal.

This journal is the perfect gift for any occasion from birthday to graduation, but it’s especially great for a Christmas gift. If you have a friend or family member that has a trip planned soon, it’s the perfect, easy way, for them to document their trip in a meaningful way. Promptly Journals has some awesome deals currently. If you order before December 14, when you spend $50 or more you can receive free shipping and just in time for Christmas. It’s definitely a great, thoughtful gift for the Travellers in your life!
