Sometimes, we just need a weekend to unwind and recharge. Our recent trip to Anglesea, along the iconic Great Ocean Road, was exactly that. Nestled just 1.5 hours from Melbourne, Anglesea offers a perfect escape from the busy city life. We stayed at a charming 60’s Beach Shack, located conveniently outside the town center, and it was the ideal spot to reset and explore.
Where We Stayed: Anglesea 60’s Beach Shack
Our cozy 60’s Beach Shack offered all the comforts we needed for a weekend retreat. Upon arrival on Friday afternoon, we enjoyed cooking up lunch in the sunlit kitchen before heading out for our first adventure—a beach walk along the scenic Anglesea Cliffs. We finished the day watching kangaroos at the nearby Anglesea Golf Course as the sunset. With a king-sized bed, our sleep was blissful, preparing us for a fun-filled weekend.
If you’re looking to stay in the same charming accommodation, you can book the Anglesea 60’s Beach Shack on Riparide here. It’s perfect for couples seeking a relaxing escape along the Great Ocean Road.
