I think we all want to be better when it comes to being less wasteful and more eco-friendly but it can seem intimidating. One thing that I didn’t really touch on in that post is being more sustainable when it comes to purchasing clothing and accessories. For me personally, getting sustainable fashion is a really overwhelming area to look into.

When I first heard about Jord’s new Suberhide Wallet, I had no idea what that actually meant. What caught my eye initially though was that The Suberhide Wallet is 100% sustainable. As I mentioned in my eco-friendly post, living a more sustainable and less wasteful lifestyle can seem overwhelming at first, which is why making small changes that eventually add up to big changes is something that everyone can easily do.
Small changes like making sure my purchases are coming from sustainable sources.
The Suberhide Wallet is made of cork-infused vegan leather. The Cork Oak Tree can be safely harvested every decade for 200 years and is only 1 of 3 trees in the world that can be stripped of its bark and still thrive when being harvested once every 9 years. This makes not only the product very sustainable but its quality is also one-of-a-kind with the cork-infused vegan leather.
The Cork-Infused Vegan leather is extremely durable with being very resistant to scratches and tearing, hypoallergenic, highly-elastic and maintains shape, resistant to staining, and waterproof which is perfect for days like today, when I take my wallet to the beach with me.
With the Suberhide Wallet collection, you’re not skipping on the functionality of a traditional wallet. The wallet offers a long, slim design that allows you to layout bills flat which is what I prefer along with being able to store anything from your phone to lip gloss. There is also a range of colors in the Suberhide Wallet collection including blue, natural cork, and red. I chose the black wallet as I feel like black goes with everything, but I love the red pop on the zipper that adds a little bit of character and unique touch to the wallet.
Although the quality is really nice on the Suberhide Elia Wallet, I think what I love most about this wallet is the fact that its vegan leather. I’m still getting the great quality that leather is associated with but without having to harm any animals. Jord’s vegan leather is super durable too and consists of a pattern and feel, similar to tanned leather.
